Post-Modern Dance & Performance Art

When it comes to performance and post-modern dance I can't think about without extending my thanks to Rudy Perez for his persistence in bringing his vision across in this area.

Through my work with Rudy I learned to focus on the essence of that which I feel I want to express; a process that requires a healthy sense of self criticism and the ability to let go of ideas in order to allow the most truthful expression.

This sense also penetrates both other dance forms I do - tango and contact improvisation. Inevitably these three dance forms become tools I use to create a performance, with some preliminary attempts to actually combine them into one new entity of expression.

At this point I don't teach post-modern; but it can change anytime. Keep checking this website for new projects.

• "We Will Go Outside Where The Wild Wind Blows" 2006 a experimental theatre piece featuring Debra Christie (Dancer), Mitra Martin (Voice, Tango, Acting) and myself
• "Gonna Stay" 2004 - 26 minute solo with life musician Tom Peters (Stand up base) and myself
• "Double Play" 2005 collaboration with Rudy Perez, his Ensemble and tango dancers from the LA community
